honda 10 hp BF100s-

Hello,
I have a BF 100S-17..... 10 HP honda outboard. About 1986. I know for sure the carb is messing up and can't clean it 100% as the main jet is stripped and stuck inside it. Do anyone know where I can get a used one ? Or know if any other carb is compatiable with it? It is a Kiein Carb. Thanks now for the responses. I'm surprised and happy to see they still sale about 85-90% of the parts for it still.

Is that jet made of brass? If so, you might be able to use a standard screw extractor to get it out. then you could buy a new high speed jet. When you say it is stripped I am assuming you mean the head and not the threads in the carburetor.

That engine is very prevalant and you should have little problems finding a new or rebuilt used carb.Try Shipwreck Marine,Rancho marine salvage,Stone and sons,or just shop new.You might find that replaceing that carb new is worth more than the trial and error of trying to rebuild it.
