225 Evinrude V6 VRO 1988

Engine stopped while running. Fuel is going through the VRO pump, but when turning over it sounds like it is not gtting fuel. I checked the spark plug wires when turning the engine over and there is no electric flowing from the wires (I checked 2, one on each side). The engine started right up and ran perfect prior to this incident.

check with a spark tester, all 6 cylinders. it sounds like the power pack has failed.

The other obvious is the kill switch and its wiring.

Take a ohm meter and check the timer base & stator readings as this will tell you if you have a bad pack.
