It is a 1947 3.3 hp. I am sure I would offend anybody if I were to badmouth it, but the carburetors were a PIA. If you want to get into restoring and/or collecting old outboards, go for it. If you want something a bit simpler and more reliable, move up to the 1950's thru '60's and get an Evinrude Lightwin 3 or Johnson JW. Probably the finest motors of that size ever built.

I'm with FR those carbs were a pain in the If you are looking for something to play with that is one thing. something to run like FR said get into the 50's.
