I have a 1961 lark 40 hp was wondering if I could switch out the bowl that has an un fixed high speed jet to an 1962 fixed jet bowl

Physically, you can. But the fixed jet orifice plug size must match other parameters of the upper part of the carb. They may or may not be the same, I don't know.

I was talking about the upper half of the carburetor. Venturi sizes vary. Main nozzles vary. Holes in the throttle plates vary. Stuff like that. In all likelyhood they will be the same and it will work fine. Just trying to alert you to the possibilities that I don't know the answer to. I suppose I can go to the parts books and research it for you.
