Well i started to remove all the carpet and, cut some of the rotted flooring in my 2000 bayliner...all I have to say is that if the FACTORY HEAD HONCHOS are reading this, they need to go down to the production floor...and look to see WHAT A BUNCH OF HACKS!!! THEY HAVE BUILDING THIER PRODUCTS!!!
Anyway..I need to know what kind of "foam" is used to put back, I took all of it out( approx 1- sq ft) in the bow..and before i put the floor on I need to fill the void?? and any recommendations...wher to get products for (foam)Its not the stuff you find in Lowes/homedepot in the can?? fiberglass/resin...so I can do the floor repair... I appreciate the help...

Re: more advice needed..

Im sure some of the boats they build get less resin or attention, heck they are human built, they have holidays and things in thier mind...it no real excuse of course...but they probably have meetings saying "we need to use less resin and lower costs" etc etc....either way youd have to pay ALOT for a boat to have better quality...AND it would have lasted if the POwner had taken better care of it...2000 is pretty dang new......mustve left it uncovered many times!

for resin/cloth Iboats can ship it to you for a great price....or locally
Homey Depot and wally world have it..so does Autozone (Bondo brand polyurethan resin)

if you can find closed cell foam that wont suck up water.....the white garage door insulating foam at HD or similar should work well I would think
