Here's a shot of my dock from Sunday. My boat's slipped not far from where Skago lives, so it's roughly the same 2' he had.
Fortunately my canvas held the snow with no problem.

Careful where you throw the snow, there's a diver down behind your vessel......

dang ,those are some serious tractors ! I have a 1968 John Deere 140...first with hydrostatic trans...my tractor came with a 54" snow blower (hydraulic's for up and down ) and rear wheel weights and chains.... it chewed up and spit out every bit of snow I pointed it at a beast of a small machine... I cleared and cleaned out every driveway on my street with it...and we got hit with 23"

I see that 268 or whatever it is is still caged up in the parking lot. Must be a paperwork fiasco.

That boat has an interesting story.
Apparently the registered owner passed away and the slip went unpaid for a long time- I heard more than a year. Earlier this summer the boat started taking on water in the slip so the marina was forced to do something about it. Even after many attempts the marina wasn't able to contact any heirs, so they hauled the boat and started legal action to take possesion of the boat for the unpaid slip rental. Last I heard they were still waiting for the title to come back from the state.
It's a shame- the Sea Ray 268 is a pretty nice boat. That one's been sitting uncovered all this time- and it was sinking when they hauled it, so who knows what damage might be inside...

That boat was tied up to the launch pier when I rented the slip for 4th of July weekend, made things tough getting in and out.
