Hi all,
I need to mount an electric brake controller in my 2006 F150. Short of modifying the dash I'm not not having much luck coming up with a good location. It's a prodigy controller and I would like easy access to it from the drivers seat. Any F150 owners out there with a slick solution?

Thanks.

Mine is under the dash on my Chevy.Once it is adjusted you really don't need to access it much.
It sticks out just enough i can see the digital readout so i know its working.
No metal under the F-150 dash?

Plenty of metal for mounting down low, but it's too low. Too easy to get bumped by your legs, getting in and out. I know I'm a bit picky.

Re: Brake controller mounting

I used to mount them in our trucks at work.We had Dodge Chevy and Ford trucks.
I am thinking the Fords we mounted them either under the dash on the left side or under the stereo on the models that had the small storage hole in the dash.
I hear ya on hitting it with your legs.
On my Chevy it is mounted to the right under the dash so my leg just misses it when driving.

Done deal. Left side under light switches. Installation was clean and simple.
