I am paniting my 1984 skeeter and I wanted to start a thread about my progress. I've got all the holes from old trolling motor and other misc holes patched with Marine-tex and have just about got it sanded for the prime coat. I am painting it with Super marine paint EDIT, I've been talking to Pete there He has been very helpful. They have a ten year guarantee on there paints not to crack peel or fade/yellow I am going to put two coats of there primer, then a black base, then two coats of clear with flakes from House Of Color ( probably a Root Beer Kandy or maple nut color changing paint), then two or 3 coats of clear. sand and buff. I'll update regularly with pictures and I'm also taking video footage of my progress. Please feel free to chime in with any comments or advise. thanks...

Welcome to iboats.

Please review the posting rules AND learn about using the search function.

Picture info is available here in the top 3 threads http://forums.iboats.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32

Make sure your primer is compatible with epoxy surfaces since you used marine tex for repairs.
