just came across an old boat with a wiring mess... ignition switch is gone and there are naked wires every where...the motor on it is an evinrude 100 selectric shift v4. That is all i know i cant seem to find any model numbers on it. My guess is that it is between 1960 and 70. I need a wiring diagram for it. Maybe if someone tells me where to look for the model number i can find the right diagram. thank you

Thank you. The model number is 100783a. I searched the forums here and it is a 67.Does anyone here have a wiring diagram for it. Im not even sure if this antique will run the pistons seem to be seized, years of condensation probably the cause. it hasnt been ran since 03-05.

You can get an original factory service manual, (including the wiring diagram) from Ken Cook Co. in Milwaukee. Call them or contact them on the web. Electronic web-based parts lists for OMC only go back to 1968, so you might also ask them for the parts booklet for your engine-the exploded diagrams are helpful to order from and to see how things fit together.
