I am restoring a 90' Lowe 240 pontoon. There is a piece of the deck edging missing from one side. (4') this alum. channel is 3 1/2" X 1"X 3/32" I have looked everywhere and can not find any company that has this size. Anyone have any ideas????

Might be easier to have a sheet metal / roofing company make it for you, they have metal brakes.Shop around as prices can vary from cheap to ridiculous

My first call would be to the manufacturer. It is probably a custom extrusion and if they don't have any left over, you may not get the identical item anywhere.

Kid, he needs 3-1/2 x 1"....there are two 3-1/2 " legs with the 1" between.
the 1/8 " material would probably work, but the ID would be down by 1/16".

If the edging MUST all match, you may have to replace it all.
If you get it made on a brake, it won't match the extruded profile either.

On every pontoon I've seen including mine, has had short legs, and a long spine on the deck edging. Unless davi101 is referring to some other extruded edging. I included a picture of a 1991 Lowe pontoon to show what I thought he was looking for.

Re: Pontoon deck edging

Have you contacted the manufacturer. Lowe still uses the same style of edging on some of their new pontoons, although I don't know if it is the same size.

Check with any local boat dealers to see if their service shop has any edging they may have replaced during a repair on a customers boat. They my also know of someplace that stocks the piece you're looking for.

The only other option may be to buy a length of square tubing from the link I posted earlier and rip it to size on a table saw. Aluminum cuts easily with a carbide blade. Cut into an old candle to lubricate the blade so the aluminum doesn't stick to the teeth. Use a file or some 80 grit sandpaper to cleanup the cut edge.

I know this is an old post but what did you do about the edge. I'm extending the front deck on my Pontoon about 22 inches and need the side edging? Did
you have a Fabricating shop make the edging? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Chuck
