water in the engine area

Hi,
even if the boat is not running after some hours i find a lot of water in the bilge area, i can't see where is caming in from...

Ayuh,... Then you have a Leak....

Leaks are found by Looking,.... Closely...

Is it an inboard/outboard? First thing I would check are the shift bellows and the drive bellows. Very common to leak.

Leaks only get worse, you need to find it before you sink your boat.

Look and look and look some more. Mirror and a flashlight will help. Pull the drive and check the drive bellows of water.

Take a garden hose and carefully run the water all over the back side of the boat including the rub rail area, Have someone inside the boat with a light looking for and listening for running water, You may find it by doing it this way also. If you do not find it with the hose, Then start the engine while on the garden hose and see if you get more water in that way.
