Taking a beating here in Delaware, about two miles from the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. 18" of snow with about 6-8" more to come and winds of 40-50mph.

My tow vehicle looks like a Dodge Fastback, but my Sharkskin cover on the Scarab repels everything.

Very jealous really wanted some snow to go sledding this weekend, end of the season is nigh and I've only done 225 miles round here.
Maybe enough to sled come Tuesday they say, been very mild here this year temperature and snow wise.

Sorry no pic's but we had 2' in Alliance,Ohio over night the most I have seen since I was a kid in one dropping. I remember 1977 3' overnight. Today it took me 4 hrs to blow and shovel out of my garage and another 3 hrs to plow out my dad who was trapped. You people in the South will never understand what it's like until you live it the best of both worlds winter and summer sleds,shovels and blowers then boats,skis,boats,tubes and boats OH yea did I mention BOATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ding my sliding glass door looked exactly like that this morning my dauchaund didn't know what to think he just sneaked up on the glass like he was stalking something and then refused to go outside.

Well, we were supposed to get 6-9 inches, but the storm tracked a little farther north than planned ... we ended up with a little over 18 inches. Just finished plowing and shoveling! I am whooped! Guess I am not as young as I used to be!

I live in SE Pennsylvania and got 2'. This storm made winter 09/10 the snowiest on record- 50" (so far) in Philly. Thankfully no power outages here but I heard there were some just 15 miles away.
Heavy, wet snow isn't easy to move.
And we might get more on Tuesday night.....

It's my next door neighbor. He's my 'plow guy'. He restored it last summer and that thing is sweet.
FWIW I used to have a Cub Cadet 108!

grrrrrrrrr this is what i got over nite, just about 12" to 14" on the flat, but becuse of the wind had a 3' drift aginst my door

The sleds, shovel and blowers are the exact reason why my parents left there and moved south 40 some odd years ago. Did I mention we boat 12 months out of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!! D

Both parents Alliance High School sweet hearts. Still have family on both sides living in Alliance. Will be in town tomarrow night. Buy you a beer if you want.

BTW: Ended up with 33" before all was said and done

All i can say is you guys up there do a great job clearing the snow.

A plow would never come through our neighborhoods down here.
Heck,They don't even know how to clear the major roads..
We would be shut down for weeks here.

We got right around 30", with some 4' drifts all over the place. Our driveway is about 900' long, I had to use my New Holland's front and loader, one scoop at a time. I have to go back and use the grader blade today.
