cleaning mouse skin

My 92 bayliner is lined with a grey felt like stuff that looks like mouse skin, it is horrible to clean if anyone has come up with something that works on this stuff I sure would like to know about it, many thanks:)

I would try warm soapy water and a soft brush, then rinse.
just a thought.

No,factory upholstry,those early models of the 2452 were all like that ,it develops little black spots and streaks like mildew but it isnt. Its driving my wife to distraction.we have tried all kinds of warm water and cleaner solutions just to have it come back after winter lay up. Even tried keeping an elecrtic heater going all winter (expensive).
