I just can't decide where I want to put my livewell. I'm deciding between in the front seat of the center console, in the rear platform or in the front casting deck. I dont see much info on this site about livewells so please post pictures of your set up and maybe why you have it where it is :D

Are you wanting a permanent live well or a removable one? If your wanting a removable/portable one shoot me a PM. I have a removable/portable one I don't use anymore.

Mine is right under the seat/leaning post... Its a pretty good spot for it because it is out of the way, but at the same time its kind of a pain to get the fish in there because there isn't much clearance for the net and the lid doesn't stay up.

Any more pics?

Look on craigslist for baitwells, I see a few all the time.

My livewell's built into the port side stern gunwale behind the rear lounge.

Yes I think that it is homemade. I can't be sure though, because I didn't make it. I don't have any great photos of it in my photobucket account.... but here is one that shows it detached from the boat for a rebuild:

and here is a picture of it on the boat (no cover)

Its steel and pretty heavy, but other than that, the PO did a great job on fabrication. Hope this helps- Tom

Haha... yeah that first one was screen shot that I had in my folder... been considering adding and OB extension. I had no idea it was called a gill bracket! Maybe I'll start a thread on that once I have a few different scenarios mocked up....

Hopefully signal 20 is finding a good spot to put that livewell!
