Sobriety Test

Well, I can't seem to find any where else to put a topic such as this but I think it's important to the viewers.

From time to time, respondents offer responses that are out of line with their normal character. Old timers can detect this but NEWBIES can't. You have to separate the straw from the chaff.

A sobriety test with a score attached to a comment to a thread would give the poster a clue as to just how much stock they could put in the answer received.

I mean sometimes I get on here in the AM, maybe the PM, maybe I just got out of bed; maybe I should have been in bed; maybe I was having a good day, maybe not; just the opposite.......how is the recepient to know?.....He/she doesn't.

Sometimes I am proud of what I have been able to offer questioners and sometimes I couldn't face the task of opening the site the next day.

Guess we are just human.

It is wheat that is separated from the chaff. Straw is usually left in the field.

Wow, that's heavy duty stuff there Mark.
Hope the wheat get's through most of the time.
The mod's will take care of any moldy and rotten chaff out here I am certain.
Just remembered, I have to move the beer fridge closer to the computer this weekend.

Have you decided on a scale yet? When you do I'm a 5 out of whatever it is. as long as it's out of 10.

Edit: Ooops I meant to say 6. I mean 5/6..huh? Maybe sobriety is best left out of this.
