So I finally had a nice weekend to get out and replace the head gasket on my motor and this is what i found after removing the heads.

That is known as a busted piston.


You'll be doing a rebuild now I suppose!

It's always best to resize your pictures so they do not require all of us to scroll horizontally to see it.

A good (free) photo editor is the Gimp!


What engine is that?
