1973 650 mercury no spark

Hi all
I have an issue with a 650 3 cylinder motor
no spark ran through the test method i found here
power on red all the time
power on white and black when ignition on
no output on green
bridge blk and white and black no spark when bridge white and black and black to blue no spark
bridge black and white to blue get spark at spark plugs
the question is is it the cdi or something else that causing the no spark

is the trigger inside the distrbutor
and is the black wire the trigger wire

The trigger and dist housing are 1 piece and must be replaced as a unit all 3 wires from the dist are wires that are connected to the trigger.

all fixed was the pick up in the distributor
