Rhino Lining for repair holes in a jon boat?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. :)

All right, so I've been a shore bound basser for a long time have not really had the cash to get a boat, or new jon boat. I fish this canal sometimes and as long as I can remember, their has been an old 10' (looks like) aluminum jon boat that has been sitting there behind some ones yard (odiously it theirs), and is now sun bleach, and has over growth around it. So I gonna go to their house some time this weekend and ask if they still want it, or wanna sell it. So I'm kinda concerned about it having holes it. If it does, I'm wondering if you can take Rhino lining and just fill the bottom to seal the wholes and prevent it from filling, I've also heard it'll cut down on noise when you walk around or drop something.

So wudda guys think?

Gluvit is applied to the rivets and seams. This is what mine looks like with the gluvit applied:

I would not add Rhino to that little boat. Perhaps just some Rustoleum with some sand added to it for grip in the areas you'll be stepping. You will want to paint the Gluvit as it's an epoxy and doesn't care much for UV exposure.

Gluvit on the inside and Steelflex on the outside.

Whatever you do, don't apply liner to the bottom of a hull on an air boat.

The local water patrol ruined theirs by using bedliner to fix leaks. Now the thing has so much friction it won't take off from a standing start on ice.
