2004 Evinrude 250 Loose Hydrolic Steering

I have a 2004 Evinrude 250HP, the boat is currently out of the water and when it is down in the running position I can grab the leg and move it back and fourth. When i do this an you look at the steering piston it has about a half inch to 3/4" of play in each direction which is very noticable at idle speeds. Any ideas ? new unit? new seals? No idea please help.

you need to bleed you hydrolic steering, it is low on fluid.
