Mercury carb question..

Hi guys, I have a 1990 mercury 90 horse 3 cylinder outboard. I am having some problems with my motor running right, and I started to look at the carbs one day, and the lower carbs high speed needle or jet not for sure what they call it has a crack in it. This is the long needle that runs in the middle of the carb from the top chamber to the bottom. Serial # is OB194836

The thing is they don't make these carbs anymore I guess, so I'm kinda out of luck. How could a guy go about getting one of these jets? If anybody has anything like this, please let me know. Thanks

You might have to go to MERC Marina or e-bay to buy a used carburator that will supply your needs or try this website, who knows you might get lucky

Check this:

http://www.ishopmarine.com/ishop/js...cCatFilter=MM&eCatSupFldr=supplier-050-025-MM

and, on the parts list on the right, click on the last item #13959599 - Repair kit

a pop-up windows will appear showing a pic of the parts included

write down the numbers

1 x Mercury Marine 13958236354 @ 31$ - repair kit
2 x Mercury Marine 13958112231 @ 7$ - gaskets kits (for the other two carbs)

and order them through your friendly Merc dealer or via the iboat store ;)

Re: Mercury carb question..

Thanks, but that's not what I need though. I need the long jet that runs up in the middle of the carb, like in the picture I posted.
