Crazy odd rebuild question

I have a '93 Merc 350 Magnum with an Alpha 1 drive. My dad had it rebuilt early last season by a "car" guy. It's in a 1993 Ebbtide 20 foot bowrider. To be honest, the thing runs like a champ, he did a nice job with the engine itself. However, in trying to service it for this season, I've run into something I never expected. There is not a dipstick anywhere on this thing for oil. I don't have access to the guy who rebuilt it and dad is clueless about what was done. I know at least two cylinders were sleeved and the heads were replaced. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe the block was as well. Anyhow, where should the dipstick be? I'm assuming there must be some port there that is capped off and that's where I'll have to get the oil in and out. I can provide serial number (not that it would matter much since it is now so cobbled together) and pictures. Thanks guys!

On most Mercruiser engines I've seen the dipstick is built in to the oil pan. If the guy that rebuilt your engine replaced your nice aluminum marine pan with a stamped metal automotive one then you are hosed. Otherwise look on the side of the pan and see if the guy just plugged it off and forgot to put it back on.
