Top piston is #1. Firing order is 1, 2, 3. Is that what you wanted?

Best is marine grade lower unit oil. It has more emulsifiers to prevent any water from rusting the gears. However, if you just can not get any, SAE 85-90 weight automobile rear end oil will do. It requires a little less than a liter, maybe a touch more than 3/4 liter (litre?)
