Hello, I have a 1986 35hp mercury A997958. I had a few questions hoping someone could help me out. Im new to this so these may be easy ones. lol What fuel/oil ratio do I use? i think 50/1 but not positive about that. Also i started it today and it would run but only if i was giving it alittle gas. It wouldn't idle, it would just die. I would guess the carb just needed alittle adjusting but im not sure. I noticed it didnt smoke much at all, i know usually a 2stroke will smoke alittle like a chain saw or weed eater. One more thing anyone know where i can find a manuel for the A997958 i have had no luck. Hope someone can help me out. thanks
