Canvas canoe

Need help repairing the canvas. The woods all good but the canvas is a little cracked from the sun. How do I fix this? Thank you

Ayuh,... Most just strip it Off,+ go back with a layer of Fiberglass,+ resin...

The only way to Fix old canvas is to strip it off,+ reapply it,...
But,..
Fiberglass is a Much Better product for the job...
Unless this is a restoration to original, canvas ain't worth messin' with...

How think of fibber? With cloth or without?.... If i did it without then the wood underneath would probably still be nice and visble.

Ayuh,... I think you're missing the terminology,...

Fiberglass IS the Cloth,... I'd think 6oz. would be minimum...
The Resin is Useless without the glass...
A single layer might be enough...

I use resien all the time for repairs. Works great for smoothing or just throw some pigment in there and boom cheap gel coat!
