I'm trying to figure out the model year of a Johnson 25 horse. Possible 80's model. I have searched this forum and the net, but the codes don't seem to jive...
Model J25RCR is a 1984 Rope Start 15" 25HP Johnson. The trailing D in your model number is for the factory run during the model year, or for a change during the model year.
