Have read some of the postings. This is my problem. I get the steady beep beep beep on and off. It starts approximately four (4) minutes after i start the engine. I get the chirp at start and then the beep. I shut engine down and start it back up. Approximately four (4) minutes later the beep beep again. Thus far i have replaced the vro fuel and oil pump (made from gold) and i have replaced the fuel line and the oil line. I have oiled all the connections to test for air leaks with negative results. I am to the point of disconnecting but wanted to see if anyone out there had a clue to what i have overlooked. All testing has been done with ears sitting on the trailer. Problem started on a fishing trip and have not put it back in the water until i get this thing resolved. Help!

Did you run it out of oil?

Oil tank full of fresh oil?

That alarm sounds like: "low or no oil alarm".

I would add some oil to my fuel until problem is solved, spark plugs are cheap. Like DJ said you need to check your vro wiring and your oil tank wire, assuming you have it filled with oil, I would say you either have a short in the wiring or a faulty horn. I feel your pain on the fuel pump. I have disconnected the VRO wiring and plugged oil lines on all of my boats and I premix, just my preference, just seems to cut down on things that can go wrong.

Oil tank has never run out since I have owned it.

Oil tank was taken out, emptied and a new filter placed on it and filled with fresh oil.

From what I have read the low oil alarm comes from the tank and it is a beep and then twenty second pause then another beep. The alarm I am getting is a beep on and off and regular intervals about 5 seconds apart and that is suppose to indicate a no oil alarm at the pump. The third is the constant beep and that is for heat. Thanks for the input and do you have anything else?

Sparkie,

Retired Crypto Tech here and I am getting real close to doing just what you have done. Since I bought the new pump combo I really hate to stub the oil tank out before I have exhausted all the avenues to remedy the situation. Have any other suggestions? Super Spook
