Just a quick note.
I installed Smart Tabs SX on my boat last week and spent all weekend on the water with them...AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Bow rise gone, time to plan 2 seconds, porpoising gone, low speed wander much improved, minimum planing speed lowered. All around very pleased with results.

Only drawback is that on very tight turns I have a tendancy to ventilate the prop. That was not there before. Reason being, because of my transom design I had to mount them pretty far inboard. I rarely turn this sharp anyway, was just putting it through its paces to see what they could do. I think that a cupped prop might help with that issue as well. But gotta save some money up for that one.:)

yep! Me too! Congrats! Also, I had the problem turning as well, while running the 3 blade SS. 21degree. I installed a 4 blade SS 20 degree and it turns on a dime. A big help with performance but did lose 6 mph on top end.

The tabs and prop made handling so much better on my cuddy.

Did you lose the 6mph with the 3 blade 21p? or did u lose it after u put the 4blade 20p on? Just wondering, I just installed them on my 18' Sea Ray. I hope I dont lose to much top end

lost no speed with tabs. Lost 5 to 6 mph switching from 3 blade to 4 and dropping a degree in pitch.

Cool, I am seriously thinking about those myself, but this will be my first full season with my boat, so I wanted to evaluate her performance and handling a little longer before drilling. I only had Labor Day weekend and a day trip last season so we are still getting to know each other.

Another one here also.... Took my boat out 1 time and knew something was gonna have to be put on there for me to even want to keep it...I was experiencing proposing when the trim was out just a little bit past fully down position, bow rise, would not plain until around 19-20 mph and a horrible low speed wonder. I mean it was so bad the boat was almost impossible to drive up on the trailer.... Put these on, had to mount them closer to the middle than recommended but still around 14 inches from center and wow... I can now trim out to to around 1/4 on the trim gauge with no proposing, I can now always see over the bow when getting out of the hole, plaining speed is now around 13-15 MPH and the most important to me, minimum low speed wonder.. .It is incredible... I was reluctant to do it at 1st as I had to move my transducer which required filling and drilling even more holes but man I am glad I did...

I'm glad to see your post.
When I knew I needed them, I looked at all of them, but did not give Smart Tabs the attention they deserved.
If I shop again, I will give them a lot more consideration.
