I need to replace these seat sliders on my 88 Cobalt, they are no longer available thru Cobalt, does anyone recognize these items? possibly available thru another retail dealer? Thanks

sorry ...i dont recognise them....i would need to see the seats..and how the part is used.

but here is the story.......cobalt does not make there seat hardware.

most seats and bases are made by a hand full of manufacturers.....just find out who made the seats.....and the main company will have the parts.

These parts interface the bottom of the seat track with the floor track making the seats capable of sliding. It was from the single seat large helm chair Cobalt used at that time, I'm trying to ID the seats or hardware and was hoping someone would recognize them.any ideas? Thanks
BTW-They are made of plastic of some kind, maybe nylon or delrin.

Looks like a yardstick from the Ringwood Post Office.

My suggestion would be to visit a small machine shop and see if they can duplicate them in delrin or nylon. They look pretty simple to make.

Re: Seat hardware, look at pics, please.

I was looking at some junk boats at my marina and I thought I saw them on one boat.
I'll check again this weekend for you. :)

That would be great. I see you are in NY. I'm around by the Great Sacandaga or Metro NY area.
They may be broken on that boat also but i may get a line on the manufacturer or/and call that boat company up.
I wish I had a junk boatyard to sort thru.

Yup, thats my last alternative, I might even try myself if I find a block of Delrin.
Using hand tools as best I can.

Bones, Sorry to report they were not the same as you have.
I appreciate your efforts.
After much scouring I have found a product made by "Whitecap" they are called Bimini track slides,p/n#3430, and fit in .850 track, the only thing is they have a "tower" molded in that a screw fits in, but I can easily grind that down and then drill 2 new screw holes. I have yet to get these in my possession but the specs all seem correct.
Anyway, just posting so if anyone does archive search they will find the answer.
Thanks All.
