Does anyone know a source for new old stock convertible tops?

Any brand is ok but my original was a Taylor made top.

I am in process of restoring a 1968 15ft Mirrocraft closed bow Fish and Ski and I need a new convertible top.

I would also welcome any links to any supplier of boat interior parts for restoration.

Thanks a million.

By 'convertible' top, are you referring to a standard bimini top or is there something else?

You don't indicate what region or area you're in, but check with any local boating supply store, especially the smaller ones. All of the shops by me have local canvas/upholstery shops which create tops for them. These usually include the bows as well and generally sell for ~$250.00. You would also have to purchase the associated mounting hardware (if you don't already have it).

The ones I've seen come in a variety of colors and sizes. I was also told that if you need a specific size or color, they will make if within a week or two.

Check locally first and reach out from there.

Here are a few links in the Central Florida area:

Re: Boat Convertible Tops - Where to buy?

Thanks for your feedback.

However, I am referring to the convertible tops which have the sides that snap on the gunwale of the boat.

Most of these tops also had clear vinyl side windows which would be zipped in during bad weather.

The std bimini top is not period correct.

I am looking for something which will retain the original look of my vintage boat.

I may be forced to have this custom made however, I would prefer a new old stock top such as a "Taylor made top".

Thanks Again!

I'm looking for the same now too. I'm looking to have one custom made but want to be sure it has the "correct" style or it won't be worth the time, trouble or money. Did you find out anything about the older style convertible tops?
