140 mercruiser to 140 omc swap

my mercruiser140 is bad ,came upon a good 140 omc ,both early 80s.will the long block bolt up and then i can use my merc manifold?thanx fo any help with this . the engines look the same.

Long blocks should be the same if the same vintage.

Been there done that, works fine! A can of Black paint and no one will know.
