OMC 5.7 Carb Kit

I am rebuilding the carburetor on my 1990 Cobra 5.7, I had hoped Napa could find a part number for a rebuild kit but no joy. I carried the carburetor into Napa and they could not find it in the Holley book either.

Anyone have any idea how/where I can get the P/N for the carburetor rebuild kit?

Yeah, Napa in my redneck of the woods gives me a wierd look when I ask for marine parts. Did you try boats.net? Their prices seem pretty reasonable.

Did you look on the top of the carb where the vertical flat area is on the part inside the area where the air cleaner/spark arrestor connects to the top of the carb? I used that number and got one from naoa a couple of years ago. It should be there, the kit contained numerous items I did not need but all the ones I did. Good luck vic

It should be either Sierra #18-7239 or 18-7243.

I used the holley list number and ordered it directly from holley for less than half of what the sierra kit costs.
