Hello all, Last year with the excellent help of many members on here i got my`68- 9.5 up and running good now. It starts on 2-3 pulls when cold and about 1/2 pull when it been warmed up. Last fall the weather came in and i wasn`t able to fine tune the low speed setting on it. So heres my question, i took it out for the first time and it idles good and trolls down low where i have the ss jet set at, but at full throttle if you close off the slow speed circuit the motor picks up rpms and a little bit of speed. Does fuel continuosly flow through the slow speed along with the high speed jet at full throttle so its just leaning it out when i close off the slow speed circuit? I`m not going to run it like that but curious if this normal on how the the carb operates? Thanks, always trying to learn more!
