Which Guide-on for my trailer

I have an EZ-Loader Trailer that I would like to add rear guide-on roller posts to but the problem is there is a step running from the fender to the rear of the trailer. Does anyone make guide-ons to accomodate this large step? I would hate to have to drill through the step.

The problem I am seeing is these guide-ons attach to the frame of the trailer which wouldn't be possible with my trailer design.

Pic of the same trailer I have:

Any suggestions? Do they make a post guide-on roller that can accomodate these rear step platforms without drilling through the steps to install the brackets? The reason I want these is because there's minimal margin for error when loading my glasstron and on windier days it would make my life a lot easier. I would be interested in another solution if anyone knows of one.

I'd recommend calling the manufacturer and seeing what they recommend. No matter what, it would seem that you will need to drill holes somwhere.

These should work with no drilling of the trailer. They're bunks though, not rollers. Got anything against bunks?

Those are the only guide-ons I've ever seen as advertised to attach ONLY to the rear crossmember of the trailer, instead of the side rails like most.

And Iboats offers these, which appear to mount similar, but it says they are out-of-stock. AND I don't think they'd sit at the right angle for your dropped rear crossmember. Their photo shows a straight rear crossmember. Also not rollers.

I also believe an inexpensive trip to the hardware store might allow you to attach many types of guide-on's to the rear cross-member instead of to the side member like they alway show in their advertising photos. Get a little creative and study the pics and you can probably find an easy no-drill solution. But if you go this route, do NOT forget to compensate for that angle of your dropped rear crossmember...that will limit you somewhat and create a little challenge.

Having said all that, my honest opinion: I would have absolutely no fear of just drilling a couple holes in these steps so you could use others. It's really not that difficult...you just need 2 holes in each step for the u-bolt to pass through. And I'm sure that step is just thin sheetmetal. If you get past the fear of drilling, you can use MANY types of guide-ons and won't be restricted to that one shown above.

The VERY best alternative, but a little more pricey, will be to have some custom-welded/fabricated, and then welded to your trailer. Paint them yellow when finished for a true factory look instead of they typical ugly U-bolt afterthought look these guides always give. This is very simple and quick metalworking for someone who knows how to weld.
