Well sold my 12 ft mod v hull to build a bigger one picked this one up for 300 bucks gutted it and starting from scratch sold my 2008 5hp merc and picked up a real clean 65 9.5 johnson in phenomenal shape here in ga some of the lakes we fish have a 10hp limit hence the 9.5. But anyways here we go

gutted all the foam it was saturated in water and heavy
a good cleaning and installing new foam since the boat isnt that heavy i went with blue lowes foam

put in new spouts for the live wells, replaced all the hardware in the plates and started the framing for the casting deck and a pic of the 65 9.5 johnson

built a livewell out of a cube igloo cooler cheap and easy, whole saw through the bottom and bought a extra nut for the spout and siliconed top and bottom of the nut almost dont with the framing have to get 2 more sticks of alum to add a few more supports then should be ready to start decking.

just incase anyone had a question on how i plumbed it, gonna use a bass pro ice chest aerator kit and spray bar so it will be all enclosed in there, and planning to run the plug open should only fill to the water line of the boat.(in theory)

got wheels for the trailer, finished the frame for the rear bench to drive from, planning on cutting wood and covering it with carpet will house the fuel tank and batteries, do yall think the front will need any more reinforcements? Im planning on leaving the middle open just wood and carpet, and put a casting seat on the deck and one in the middle on the lower deck? What do yall think?
