Annoying Beep

I have a Suzuki DT40 motor (not sure of the year). After about 10 minutes of running it starts to beep every 20 seconds or so. The oil reservoir is full and the motor appears to be running well. I had it out for an hour and a half the other day and the beeping was extremely annoying. I am wondering what the problem might be and how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you getting a good flow from the water pump indicator?

my DF40 beeps when a certain number of hours pass as a service reminder...to reset it you turn the ignition on and pull the kill button out 3 times within 10 seconds (or something like that); it beeps to let you know you've reset

It could be the low oil warning, not sure if your model have a low oil warning reset button .... but what you can do is take out the oil level switch in the reservoir give it a proper clean and put it back in ....
