Re: Why my trim limit sensor needs again and again adjustment?
I thought i solved the problem afterI tighted the hinge pin of the limit sensor but it seems that i did not. After 2 hours of operation, both the limit sensor and the position sender lost their adjustment. The result is that the up button does not function and the trim gauge indicates absolutely wrong drive position. I do not understand what goes wrong after i put the boat into the sea! The sensors are totally new (mercruiser parts) and have been changed with the wires...i mean i did not connect the old with new wires! Everything is new (even totaly new the trim pump with the solenoids) and they do not work properly. The smartcraft trim gauge is also calibrated concerning the position (0=full down, 10= up position, 25=trailler position)
Do you have guys any ideas what i must check?
Thank you very much.
