1968 65h Johnson electric vxl-14b wiring diagram

I have a 1977 general marine co. Ranger tri hull with a 1968 65h Johnson electric on the back. the motor from my understanding was off another boat and put on this one when the guy i got it from bought it.none of the wires coning from the motor are connected and i'm not sure how to do them. so if anyone has a diagram that would be great. i have done elctrical work on cars and helped my dad with his boat but this one is a new one on me thats all. PLEASE someone help.

oh i'm new on here so didn't really know what i was doing and thought i had to do the poll thing. then later found out i didn't. i just wish i could find a diagram somewhere for it all the research i have done i cant find one for that specific engine.

I'm not much of a fan of aftermarket service manuals, but one thing that they are good for, is wiring diagrams. Try one of the Clymer manuals.
