70hp carbs

I have a 1983 70hp evinrude I am having problems with power down low as far as I know this outboard has no adjusment on the carbs and was wondering if it is possible to put the later style carbs on that have adjustment so i might be able to get more power down low

A set of early triple cylinder carbs with the low speed adjustment needles will work on your engine.....we've seen this done to cure cold blooded symptoms.

Ya that's sounds like what I'm aiming for iv plenty power up high just lacking power down low
