Volvo penta transom assembly

I have a 1997 four winns 238. I have to replace my transom assembly. My mechanic quoted me a price of 3,200. This price includes everything that needs to be done when replacing and installing a new transom assembly. Does this sound like a reasonable price. Thank you.

Transom assembly for what. Boat type means nothing, we need engine and drive type.

Its a volvo penta sx drive. The engine is a 350 volvo penta, carb.
