I can not tell you where to install or connect your gauge as I am not familiar with your motor. I did however install a Teleflex brand WP gauge on mine last year, and it came with some pretty decent instructions as to where I needed to install what.

Just my two cents

Usually if you take the cowl off you will see some lines running vertically on the back side of the motor. Most of the time these are lines running to circulate water out of the water jackets. You can install a tee there and run the line back to the gage cluster.

The photo below is for a three cylinder Merc but your four banger will be very similar. You have a couple options for where to pick off for the gauge. Either one will work. Keep in mind that the idea of a water pressure gauge is to also install a new impeller at the same time. You then note WP readings at idle, mid range and WOT. Any deviation from those numbers down the line means the impeller needs attention or that something else is amiss.

1) "T" into the tell tale line as I've shown in the photo below.

2) There is a port in the upper right corner of the cylinder head as shown in the second photo. If that port is not being used for a temp sender, screw a hose barb in there. (Temp sender is shown in this photo).
