I have a 1996 Bayliner Jazz 120hp, the boat runs fine out of the water and at low speeds in the water, but when I give it full throttle the bow comes up and just when the boat comes on plane it stalls out. Did a complete tune up and changed the fuel filter and checked the carbs and floats and still have the same problem. Any ideas??

Might want to check the fuel pickup in the tank.

Does it do this even with a full tank?

Yes the tank is full and tilted the boat fwd and back on the trailer at full throttle with no problems just in the water.

We can answer the boat questions but not the engine ones. We suggest you contact Mercury @ 920-929-5040. That rings right in their customer service department. BAYLINER CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM

As a Bayliner owner, I'm pretty impressed that a Bayliner Customer Service person is watching and contributing to our forum and helping everyone they can...I don't think I have seen a rep from any other boat manufacturer here , and or contributing....kudos Bayliner....now that is service !
