'83 Bayliner Capri Outdrive swap

I have a 18' Bayliner Capri with an inboard/outboard. I'm looking into putting a Berkley Jet instead the stock outdrive and I need to know if its possible... boat has a 4 cylinder in it and I'm wanting to put an 8 but I don't want to run an outdrive on it.

it needs a little work llike the floor is a little rotten witch to me seems like a easy fix. i took everything out of it and im going to redo every thing in it. my friend no's how to do fiber glass and wiring and i no somone that is going to recover the seats.this is my first boat and im still learning what every thing is sooo. whats a stringer??

Those are the longitudinal wood supports, under the rotten floor....

yes the stringers are in good shape for having a rotten floor
