I had to drain my tilt and trim fluid due to a cracked o-ring on manual release screw. After filling the unit back up with fluid (going by the manual) I can not get the tilt or trim to work. The motor will trim down all the way and trim back out about halfway while the tilt will not work at all...any ideas? Thanks!

You need to bleed it. Take it all the way up lock it in and add more fluid. Keep taking it up and down, and adding more fluid as needed. I used a chain hoist for mine.

I've been trying every way I can possibly think of to bleed it, including what you suggested. I don't know the problem is. I do know I'm getting tired of working on it though.. 15 hrs working on the boat and it hasn't even been in the water yet this year

I had a similar issue with mine (link here) turned out to be the release valve screw was not sealing, because the circlip got bent. Replaced that, torqued the screw down, and it would raise & lower properly to self-bleed. Hope it's that easy for you!
