you DO have a long way to go, nice start though. And I like the breakdown on the repairs. Post some manuals, that would be great... it just irks me that they try to sell 'em for like $30 (when an automotive manual twice as thick is $11.95).

Get the title done, and keywords too.. AND add a "description" to your meta tags (thats how search engines find you). ALSO, sign up for Google Local (it's free).. it is INVALUABLE (but they are getting too big).

And work on a logo and navigation at top left, and maybe a search box. And add some tables and colors too. Also convert pictures to thumbnails so the page loads fast.

You say you don't like to pirate, that's great. But pick up a cheap copy of FrontPage... it's getting pretty outdated but still works good and you can do most anything (Here's one of my websites I did with FP (www.mobileoncallmechanic.com).

Good Luck

Be VERY VERY careful that you do not violate any material such as manuals that are copyrighted.

I know! Usually they suck too

Doesn't sound too hard.

Ah, very good ideas. The thumbnails thing...sounds like a lot of editing...but a very good idea.

Oh I just said that... I was around before mp3's were illegal to download for free. (unlike the kids of today) I have gigs worth. PAY for an mp3? HA!

That probably a good idea. I was going to scan the parts manual for each engine I have.

Nice work. Many will appreciate your effort. Best of luck. Rick.
Thanks!

Nice job...very informative! The little dremel wheels gets expensive after a while for hardware...I just use my larger bench mounted wire wheel/grinder...works faster and cheaper in the long run. I've been thinking about a vibrating tumbler with some cutting stones. You just throw them in and come back to see them perfect. I've only heard and have not seen one in action. We'll see!

Yeah, I tried that approach years ago.

It worked, but even in my extra large hopper, you could only put a few in at at time. 12 hours gets them clean -ish. Another 24 hours and they might look close to what 20 seconds with the Dremel does.

I gave he tumbler to my friend for cleaning his ammo.
...then he gave it to someone else.

That'll give you an idea of how 'well' the tumbler works.

Sure thing!

I edited all the 'code' today. Now contains some java, and thumbnails.
Should make for easy loading!
each thumb is 64k, and some pages have 10 pictures, so it still isn't lightning fast, but it'll work for now.

Any other ideas?

Nice. I like the creative spelling :)

I enjoy seeing other people's web sites, since I have a few of my own.
