Any help is appreciated. I am having fuel flow problems. It started with bad gas, a mechanic at the marina has worked on it, (cleaned the VST, fuel rods, in both high pressure and low pressure pumps). Compression is good. Water tested on a shop tank and motor ran good. Drained (not cleaned) the fuel tank. refilled the tank with good gas and seafoam. We hooked it back up to fuel tank on boat it ran good for 5 minutes, then the problem returns, it won't go much over an idle. Obviously the fuel tank, i think? I am having a tank cleaning service coming to clean out the tank. The filter to the VST, and the low pressure pump were cleaned. A brown powdery substance was clogging the filter. After cleaning it will not run over idle on a shop tank. Can anyone help?
