I have an '87 SeaRay 210 Monacoi that the windsheild has started coming loose. The screws in the frame are tight, but there is movement where it connects to the bow and at the corner between the front and the sides.
Anyone know how I can access the screws holding the windsheild to the bow? And why the corners are loose when the screws are tight?

Start out by getting a good flashlight, lay down on the floor under where the attaching hardware is & look up. You may be lucky and be able to access the screws. Could need a long screwdriver or extension socket, but that's better than a loose windshield.

unless they have changed the design.....the screws are actually bolts with a large roofing nail head.

these fit into a track in the bottom frame of your windsheild.
they are bolted thru the hull by way of nyloc nuts....these nuts mist be coming loose....or the bolts have broken.....

test as mentioned in the post above this one.

cheers

My '88 SR had screws. They held pretty good, considering the pounding the hull took.

Pry out the black neopreme strip at the base of the windshield, and tighten the screws. You might thrubolt the corners, or any other place the screw-hold is questionable. A bit of caulk on the screw threads is a good idea.
