How do you repair a waterlogged hull on a 1994 24' SeaRay bowrider? I think the foam is waterlogged.

Re: waterlogged hull

Just like you do on any other brand of boat.

Rip up the deck
remove the old foam
replace ALL the rotton stringers and probably the transom
pour new foam
install new deck
tell wife it really WAS worth it.....

Re: waterlogged hull

just start by making sure plug is out, lift the trailer hitch up as high as possible so any water can get out. then a day or so later, remove floor if you think its still full of water. let it dry for a day or two in the sun. that may help if it just got water in it, if you know it has rot then you have to dig out foam and replace every thing. I got luck i removed flooring, and left in the sun for a day, went back out to check it and every inch was dry.. I had torn out some foam because i was thinking that everyone else talked about removing foam and everything I had to also, but not always the case. Good luck!
