Clattering noise in Suzuki 15hp

Hi,

I have a new 15hk 4-stroke Suzuki, on a small 250kg boat.

The engine has some clattering noise, as well as shakes a lot on 1/4 throttle.

And I would really appreciate what you hear on the engine - if it is normal, or there are any ideas of where to look for the noise.

How ironic! I just returned from my first run with my brand new Suzuki 15hp 4 stroke and heard the same noise. I was doing search to see if the noise was normal and came across your post. I was glad to see it because I thought it was something I had done with the extensive break in program.

The motor ran great. I did not hear the noise in neutral or when I raced the motor. It was only audible in gear. Please let me know if you find out if this is normal.
