the engine starts and runs fine until you go over 2500 rpm. if you go full throtel it will take off for about 10 sec and then bogs to an itel. if some one pumps the ball a little bit it will take off again and bog if you stop pumping the ball. i have changed all fuel lines and all 3 filters on it. i also took the fuel system off and cleaned it all. the ball is not soft when you pump it. i am thinking fuel pump, but witch one? if it is that. any help would be great.

I also checked the compression and spark. they where fine. the high pressure fuel pump does not have a fitting on top to check pressure. money is tight so to dont want to just go buying things i dont need. any advise woul be great. thanks

The problem sounds like fuel delivery. You have two fuel pumps. My guess is that the small pulse low pressure pump has a bad diaphram. Simple and inexpensive to fix. It will be the first fuel pump in the line. The second pump is inside the vapor separating tank. If you can pump the primer bulb and it runs then it's likely that your small pump is not filling the VST and the electric high pressure pump has no fuel to pump.

right area. when i opened the pump to rebuild it. i found a bunch rubber from the inside of the old fuel lines i changed. i cleaned it out and put it back on. then it ran fine. i think i might take the pump back off and rebuild it any way, i already have the parts. thanks for the help.
