Bayliner serial, need help with year

I recently bought a secondhand Bayliner Capri and need to find out the year so I can get it insured. The serial which was printed in the fibreglass above the swim step is BL0A99CVK990; can anyone help?

its a 1990 ...the last two digits designate the year.

The insurance company has or should have a data base that tells them some basic information.

I am surprised that the information is not on the title.
